Google Fiber TV app for iPad / iPad mini

Google has made its Google Fiber TV app for iPad in Apple's iTunes store. This app is designed for the devices running iOS 6.0 and higher. Google Fiber TV app allows the users to control their television experience through an iPad / iPad mini.

Currently, Kansas City is the only place featured by Google Fiber in certain areas. Google Fiber provides a gigabit speed internet service along with television support.

The Google Fiber TV app allows the users to search for programs, browse the list of channels available, also to access on-demand content and to select shows or recordings to watch. Through this app, the users are able to watch movies or any shows directly on their iPad / iPad mini.

Google Fiber TV app is now available only for iPad / iPad mini and it can be downloaded from the App Store for free. No word on the release of an iPhone version.

The Android version of Google Fiber TV app was released a month ago. And the app instead of only tablets, works on all Android devices running Jelly Bean.

Google inaugurated its Google Fiber - "Ultra-speed internet and TV service" in Kansas City in November. Google says the internet speed can be 100 times faster than the broadband connections in America.

Google Fiber service will also be launching in Provo, Utah this year and in Austin, Texas in 2014.
