Idea Cellular has launched its new 3G Android dual-SIM smartphone, Aurus II for Rs. 6,490. Aurus II runs on Android OS v4.1 Jelly Bean, which is the latest of Android OS.
The Aurus II, dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor and RAM of 512MB. It has a 3.5-inch screen with the resolution of 320x480 pixels. Aurus II features a rear camera of 3.2-megapixel and a VGA front-facing camera. It offers an internal storage of 4GB and external storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via micro-SD card.
Idea is also offering a 3G pack with Aurus II smartphone which can be purchased for Rs.261 that offers 1.6GB of 3G data and Idea TV subscription valid of 3 months.
This phone is the successor to Idea Aurus, which was launched in the September 2012. The Aurus II is the sixth 3G Android smartphone launched by the telecom operator Idea, in the Indian market. The other smartphones launched by Idea Cellular includes Idea Ivory, Idea Aurus, ID-280, ID-918 and Idea Blade.
